AI Disclaimer
Decision support only. Physician judgment is paramount.
What the AI Does
My Med Pal AI provides clinical suggestions, differential diagnoses, drug interaction warnings, image interpretation summaries, and note template auto-fill based on patient information you provide.
What the AI Does Not Do
- It does not make medical decisions.
- It does not prescribe.
- It does not diagnose.
- It does not replace a licensed clinician.
- It is not for emergency use — call 112 (TR), 911 (US) for real emergencies.
Known Limitations
- AI may produce incorrect, incomplete, or out-of-date information.
- AI may reflect biases present in its training data.
- Image interpretations come from a generally-trained model and do not replace a radiologist's report.
- Drug interaction screening is broad but not exhaustive.
Regulatory Status
My Med Pal is not approved, cleared, or certified as a medical device by any regulatory authority. It does not hold FDA, EMA, CE Mark, or equivalent certification. It is a clinical decision support tool for licensed healthcare professionals only.
Physician Responsibility
Every clinical decision — diagnosis, treatment, prescription, referral — is the licensed clinician's independent judgment and responsibility. Accepting, editing, rejecting, or flagging an AI suggestion is the clinician's call and is recorded in the audit log.
Patient Communication
Review AI output before sharing it directly with patients. AI-generated text should never be used unreviewed.
